Automobile 3C certification GB national standard:

The National Standard of the People's Republic of China, referred to as the National Standard (GB in Pinyin abbreviation), is a standard adopted and publicly released by the National Standards Agency. The type test of China Compulsory Product Certification (CCC certification) takes the national standard as the technical standard. If the country has drafted a corresponding national standard for a certain type of product, the CCC certification is not required for this type of product.

Motor vehicles and a large number of auto parts need to pass CCC certification in China. In order to prevent your products exported to China from being detained or returned by the Chinese customs, the safest way is to carry out CCC certification for every part of the motor vehicle that is included in the certification scope. Auto parts can also be CCC certified together with the entire vehicle, but due to the large variety and quantity of parts, unified certification requires twice the manpower and material resources than separate certification, and it is not conducive to changes and expansion of parts.

Due to the wide variety of automotive interior parts and different materials, the certification requirements for interior parts are relatively complicated.

Starting from January 1, 2015, the Chinese certification body has implemented new mandatory product rules and expanded the CCC certified product catalog. Starting in 2016, the dashboard, center console, and trunk interior parts of the car will be included in the CCC certification product range for the first time.
